Small businesses, corporations, startups, and nonprofits — working with each has its own benefits and opportunities. I’ve been fortunate to be exposed to all of them, gaining experience doing what I love: helping people and raising awareness about causes I care about.
Most of my work (professionally, personally, and pro bono) has revolved around social media and content creation. I’m immersed in social media daily, both personally and professionally, and have hands-on experience with all the major networks: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+, Snapchat, and LinkedIn. I’ve worked with about a half of dozen companies and brands with their social media presence, ranging from creating a simple social media plan to completely managing accounts. The most successful account I worked on was Doylestown Fresh’s Facebook page, which grew from 450 likes to 1,648 likes over an 11 month period.
Along side social media management, I developed blog posts for a few different brands as well as a personal blog. I initially created a personal blog to familiarize myself with WordPress and hone my writing skills. I have been able to apply these skills and continue to enhance them.
